It is an initiative that focuses on the uses of video corpora for research, within the Humanities. Leading these researches still entails confronting significant technical challenges. To meet these challenges, OASIS partners will develop and share a suite of free and open-source tools and educational resources such as training courses and workshops aimed at researchers and doctoral candidates. Beyond the academic research field, this project is also aimed at other communities, including higher education but also school teachers who wish to explore and analyze video resources with their students without having to rely on GAFAM tools.
